Elongated Oval Blue Swirl Plate

Handmade and kiln-fired in Japan, every plate shows slight variations in tone and brushwork, making each one truly unique. The balanced oval shape makes it ideal for side dishes, sweets, or light meals, while the organic edge adds softness to the form.

Care Instruction:

• Before first use, soak the bowl briefly in hot water or boil gently to help seal the clay.

• Before serving, soak it in clean water to reduce staining from tea or sauces.

• After use, rinse promptly and dry completely before storing. Avoid soaking it with other dishes.

• Tiny pinholes, glaze crackles, and specks of iron are part of the handmade process and will develop a richer patina with time.

Each piece is handcrafted and individually inspected. Slight variations in color, glaze thickness, or form are part of its natural charm.
