This handcrafted oval serving dish is from the Mimosa Collection of CHISU. A running rabbit moves softly among golden mimosa blossoms, capturing the liveliness of spring in motion.
The oval form, with its gentle depth, is perfect for serving salads, light meals, or shared dishes.
Each piece is individually hand-painted under a mat glaze using the traditional underglaze painting technique. The surface features a matte glaze brushed with fine iron specks, creating a natural, wabi-sabi texture that feels both earthy and refined.
Because every dish is crafted by hand, slight variations in brushwork, color, and the rabbit’s posture make each one truly unique — filled with warmth, rhythm, and the quiet joy of nature.
