Rough Iron Line Choko Cup

A versatile choko-style cup perfect for everyday use — ideal for coffee, tea, appetizers, or desserts. While choko cups are traditionally small and simple, this ceramic version brings refined warmth and a beautifully balanced form that fits comfortably in your hand. Made from durable pottery, it’s safe for both hot and cold drinks, with a stable base that makes it a pleasure to use daily.

Each piece is carefully engraved with fine iron lines (Aratetsusen), drawn freehand using a metal stylus. The spontaneous, organic lines create a soft rhythm across the surface. Subtle variations in tone — from gray to blush pink or soft orange — emerge naturally through the glaze. Even the white areas reveal gentle warmth depending on the glaze’s thickness.

Because every cup is handmade, slight differences such as unevenness, pinholes, glaze pooling, or tiny iron specks may appear. These are part of the charm of handcrafted ceramics, giving each cup its own personality and story.
