Vintage Table Lamp

This is the artist’s vintage table lamp series. In this collection, the artist experiments with different color combinations and material contrasts. During the high-temperature firing process, the glaze undergoes kiln transformation, a natural effect where temperature, placement, and glaze thickness create subtle variations in color and texture. This means no two pieces are ever exactly alike, making each artwork truly unique.

Measuring 21.5 cm x 17 cm, each piece comes with a wooden frame and a wall hook for easy display. Perfect for collecting or decorating a study, reading nook, or cozy corner, this series evokes a sense of peaceful tranquility.                                      

The artist is best known for her mastery of high-temperature colored glaze porcelain painting, a technique that uses colored glazes on ceramic clay, then completes the artwork through high-temperature kiln firing. The metal oxides within the glaze create exquisite, ever-changing colors and textures, influenced by the thickness of the glaze, how it overlaps, and even where it’s placed inside the kiln.

Because of this unpredictable process, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. You may notice delicate natural lines or subtle differences in glaze flow — these are not flaws but the marks of authentic handcraft, making every piece truly unique and one of a kind.
